Help! Laptop died minutes ago!

Hi there. I don't know what happened actually: I turned off my laptop last night and when I tried to power it today, it didn't. No images on display, a few leds go on, the fan starts and HDD does some noise, but nothing else.

I tried it both with power plug + battery, power plug only and battery only, no difference at all.

What could have happened and how could I repair?

Thanks!

Temps were much lower than it used to be since I bought a notepal some 6 months ago, I guess that was not the case. Some guys are telling me about faulty PSU or CPU =\
