DDO Online is now free to play

As title states the game has now gone free to play and you can pay for certain things, no main stream MMO has ever gone this route, I think I might give it a shot.

I only looked at it, I wasnt sure it was an MMO or more like a D2 type of game.

It's got action elements to it. I only got it because I play the table top D&D and it's fairly faithful. It's Forgotten Realms iirc.

I'd give a 9/10

I got it at launch and there weren't many players! I loved it because it played like a hack 'n slash game, but it had all the D&D moves and spells which was really cool.

Yeah I played the demo and it's quite really good actually. Once it go F2P I'll probably go ahead and buy it. I just don't like the idea of the item shop, but there's no PvP in DDO so I don't really care.

I'm not sure if you can get the free sub quiet yet, and I'm not sure if you have to buy it. I think thy are testing free subs with that beta, then prob more info will be out.

Mainly Guild Wars. But she is under the impression that if I get into DDO or WoW that I would get addicted and more time will go to the games than her.

and ireally like the game so im gonna buy it idk if i shouldwait for them to take the subscription fees off or not...site from what i found doesnt make it clear but this game is f***ing awesome.
