Earth & Beyond

Was one of the best games i ever played. Me and my Brother were pissed that EA canceled the server and production of the Game. Now though, there are people and there's a Forum out on the net that is coding the game and bringing it back to life. they are nearly half-way done i believe. Me and my Brother have been testing and things are nearly stabled. Let's hope for the best.

Please... if anyone is willing to help out in the little project it would be great! [LINK]

I've never played this game. Is it both PvE and PvP? From the reading I did on it, it looked PvE only.

It looks cool. I seems sort of like a multiplayer Freelancer with additional item creation options.

yeah, though it's a MMORG. It is indeed fun to play. Once the Servers are completely tested and the game is stable we shall be good to go.

I had four chars to 150 on Andromeda. My first MMO. Lots of my best online gaming friends were found in that game. I've been following the emu for a couple of years and participated in the last beta. I can't wait for it to come back.

Since EA bailed out on game, is there any legal way of obtaining the client?
Or are people who never owned it just SOL?

Okay, maybe I'm just having a bad day or I'm just stupid (or both ).
In the client portion of the download section there is a Alpha client (which states that it won't work most of the time) and an update which requires the demo or retail client.
In one thread I read that they cannot link to the client (for obvious legal reasons).

What am I missing here.
