X800 XT PCI-E to X800XT PE PCI-E?
I was wondering if its possible to flash the bios of a X800 XT PCI-E card to a X800XT PE PCI-E with the bios of the same type of memory? I did this with my X800 Pro VIVO card and made it a X800XT PE no problems but I dont know if the PCI-E cards can do it or not? Any help on this would be great. Remember the card I have is a X800 XT PCI-E and I want it to be a X800 XT PE, basically add the higher clock rate. I know I can just use ati tool to make it at that speed, but I would rather have it be recognized as a PE edition. Thanks

i flashed my connect3d gto r423 with powercolor x800xt bios as it uses 2.0nms ram to set my clocks at 500/500 default. just be sure that the new bios uses the same memory 1.6ns or 2.0 and has matching cores. I believe all x800 xt use the r423 but ram still varies.
