You guys think this is pretty good?
Check it out! $344.99 USD after MIR.
This well beat them http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2597918&CatId=2514
word from the wise: SLI is pretty much only useful if you pair two very high end cards, otherwise it's more cost efficient to buy the card equal to the cost of two cards for SLI
Hence the question flesher as well, to me those are high end!
You are wrong. Those are two "midrange" cards, so what you are trying to say is that a midrange card is at your highest price-point. The 8800GTS 640mb will beat them out in performance while keeping a similar price-point to 2 midrange 8600's.
well I didn't word my statement correctly then, 8800gts 640 gives the option to SLI later though, whereas with the SLI 8600 you're stuck
the only time I'd ever go SLI is if it's two high end cards but even then I wouldn't because SLI with GTXs and Ultras is overkill + too much heat + huge waste of $
Gotcha! ... Thanks nflesher & erocker!
