@ wile i think he is better off on the 790X board cause it gives the option of xfire in the future which is not possible on the single pci-e P31 and the amd chips can only get better so why not go for that option it gives a lot of upgrade room

The only thing the combo I chose leaves out, is the possibility of Crossfire.

@Shadow - 2.8 is almost a guaranty. The only way it wouldn't happen, is if you got a bum chip. Same can be said of the AMD setup as well tho.

I will probly get the intel in the end because I play at lower resolutions and thats all cpu dependant.
