I can't believe how much scalability they're building into Project CARS. It's probably THE most adaptable, accessible SIM racer in history. It not only has a wide range of platform support, the driver assists scale well to varying skill levels, and their analog filtering for digital triggers and keyboards is unparalleled. The handling physics seem to be dialed in pretty good too. I wish all racers were made with that much attention to the kind of details that matter most, and on top of it, it looks beautiful too.
Codies by comparison are going the route of appealing to a select few. They've shut down their forums and are using NeoGAF to communicate with players, a site that doesn't even allow freemail users to register.
