Hi guys,
as I was looking for a cheap USB mic. And I found this to look good: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Ster...UK_Camera_Cables_Adapters&hash=item462580f45a .
Can I slap in THIS adapter and be fine with it? Because the first thing is 10 pin and the 2nd is 5, but I only need the MIC-e, I don't really care for the other functions the GoPro might deliver with its original adapter.
It's not a question of life and death really. I need to record a set of tutorials. Right now I have X Fi Go Pro USB card and a small MIC connected to it. But I looked around and some of the professional podcasters suggested that the USB is the way to go if you want to be serious about what you are doing. If someone ever bothered to check if the upper mentioned combo is possible, can you drop me a line here or on PM. I'd be grateful.
