AMD is planning to launch its next performance-segment CPUs alongside its Radeon R9 285 graphics card; the FX-8370 and its energy-efficient variant, the FX-8370E. Based on the 32 nm "Vishera" silicon, the FX-8370 is an eight-core socket AM3+ processor, featuring out of the box clock speeds of 4.10 GHz, with TurboCore frequencies of 4.30 GHz. The standard variant features 125W TDP, while the FX-8370E features 95W. The two will sell at the same price-points as the FX-8350. The FX-8370E will sell at a slight premium.

There's no such information in the original post. btarunr only says the FX-8370 has that clock speed. His post is carefully worded to say nothing about the clock speed of the FX-8370E.

As far as I know, in case of the opterons, the E and non-E compared, there was never any difference apart from the power efficiency. While I cannot make sure, I believe there won't be speed differences on these FX either.

To my understanding of what was said in the presentation, the E versions will be slower from less aggressive Turbo boost'ing to keep it in the power envelope.
