x99 just launched at last week (I believe is at last Friday??)
and here is the price shows on the new-egg, not that expensive as I think

MSI
X99s sli plus - $229
X99s gaming 7 - $289
X99s gaming 9 ac - $429

ASUS
X99-DELUXE - $398
RAMPAGE V EXTREME - $500

Gigabyte
GA-X99-UD4 - $260
X99-GAMING 5 - $299
GA-X99-GAMING G1 - $345

the most interesting thing is
ASUS Rampage V Extreme and MSI X99 gaming 9 ac are really similar
both support up to 4 ways SLI/CF
and the coolest thing is, msi x99 gaming 9 ac has the build-in Streaming Engine(AVerMedia encoding chip)
so, if looking for high-end x99 motherboard, msi x99s gaming 9 ac is get higher value(Cost/Performance)!

and the biggest problem is not the cpu or motherboard
is the ddr4 memory price.......

4x4g ddr4 memory is cost like $400....!!

Yea I really wanna upgrade but I'll have to wait for a 3200MHz CL16 4x8GB kit.

I'm thinking Rampage V with 5960
