Hello guys , its my first post . I am in a serious trouble, I was going to buy a gtx 970 from amazon or newegg or ncix or overclockers.co.uk for 370-380 dollars but none of them has it in stock for past 1 week So i decided to check it in Ebay and in ebay it cost 440 Dollars and on the same price just few bucks costlier i can get an Asus gtx 780 ti for 480 dollars . So What do you guys prefer ? Which of them is faster and is it worth going for gtx 970 for its new features over a gtx 780 ti? Power consumption or heat is not a problem for me , Nor i am going to overclock . Thanks in Advance .

GTX 780ti is marginally faster, but I would wait till they have cheaper GTX970 in stock.

The price being asked at Ebay is what the person selling it wants for it. Put an order in for the GTX 970 at Amazon or Newegg and they will charge you and ship it too you when it's in stock.

I've seen 780Ti for as low as $430 after MIR, which makes it fit quite nicely in between 980 and 970, both in terms of performance, as well as price.

780 Ti is faster but more expensive than 970, so the decision is up to you - do note however that 780ti production has officially come to an end, so supplies may not last forever.

Wait a bit till you find a 970 in stock. performance/price and performance/watt ratios are really quite good.

970, 780ti is too expensive now. $100 less and you'd have almost the same performance with the 970, overclock the 970 and its identical. If its not in stock now, it will be soon, can't be out of stock forever.

gtx 780 ti is not 100 dollars expensive , Just 40 dollars.

I guess going with GTX 980 is better it costs 580 dollars. While gtx 970 is 440 dollars.
