Hey guys,

So a few months ago I had money to spare and wanted to just get the best to lower noise, I have since had to lend out a lot of money so that project took a backseat. With holiday deals around the corner, I figure it is the best time to look again.

I'm thinking I'll be changing 3 things, GPUs, CPU cooler and Case ( I want new aesthetics and USB 3 anyways). Perhaps buy appropriate fans if needed (I do have a few Noctuas though)

See current system specs.

GPU - I'm thinking downgrading from 280X + 7970 Xfire to a single GTX 970 ASUS STRIX. Or would a GTX 780 or 780Ti be significantly better value-wise? Is AMD going to be coming out with they new gen GPUs? I could sell off my 7970 and wait as well.

CPU cooler - RMA the H80 and leave it on low/med? Or get the D15 and sell the RMAed H80?

Case - I want something good here. Maybe a Silverstone FT05? I am going to take out HDDs and ODDs, only SSDs for storage
