Why the hell worlds largest HDD makers aren't in any hurry to make SSD drives? Everyone else makes them, just not them. Apart from those old server drives. One would expect them to deliver something by now...

Why no WD or Seagate SSD's?

Well, they now have the market niche that guarrantees profits. People still buy HDD's by the ton, because Price per gigabyte, SSD's can't beat them (YET), and because of their sheer volume capacity advantage they have over SSD's.
If I were either of them, I would likely also continue to produce almost exclusively with HDD, because much like an undertaker, everyone needs one sooner or later.
That's my viewpoint only. The real reason could be something entirely different.

Ordinary SSD is not worth at the moment. Better make SSHD or HDD.

Good find, in fact both are doing it I think? RejZoR I think was aimed at SSD without any platter attached.
Normal SSD's with SATA3 and not some SAS drive...

They just didn't make a dramatic change because it may not be the time yet...
They are obviously aware of SSDs. If they can, they will make and sell SSD. They know if SSD become cheaper than HDD their business is probably over.
My conclusion is that they are not worth for them at the moment, but I think they are ready. Otherwise they can say goodbye in a near future.

High speed mechanical drives are still the backbone of the internet and all major storage, its the cost, which are current growth rates I am not sure if we will see SSD's take the price crown from them in the next 10 years. 8TB HDD for a few hundred bucks when that same dollar only gets you 1/8 the storage for SSD, and where caching algorithms can move frequently used data to the faster front end SSD's or PCIe cache boards or even faster RAM disks when we can have 128GB of RAM in a tray.
Seeing how finding a single 2TB SSD drive as mission impossible...

Unless you go for a PCI SSD.
Which i don't want. microATX board with no empty PCIe slots. And these are often idiotically expensive and unbootable. Which makes them useless.
