Hey all,

I was playing Borderlands 2 earlier and totally forgot how much I love this game.

However, after tweaking the graphics and settings to how I want, I couldn't help but notice my fps dropping from a constant 60, and causing some hitching.

I read a little online and most are blaming this on PhysX not working.

My question is: How is Borderlands the Pre-Sequel running on newer rigs? Anything to worry about? Just thought I would ask before I buy

Yeah, just like BL2, PhysX is broken in this game also. Its not horrible, I have messed with settings in game and in the Nvidia control panel and it plays fine but still has the occasional frame spike, mostly when there are multiple enemies on screen being frozen, shattered, etc and the PhsyX generates TONS of particles, it has been bugged since BL2. Its a shame they haven't fixed it yet.

I have had to settle with Low PhysX, but it was odd, when I first started playing I had PhysX on ultra and it didn't seem to move from 60FPS. But when I got into the more open zone: Triton Flats, it seems to intermittently spike down below 60 fps, or in other areas. Its random and annoying. I tried to switch the PhysX to run on my Processor and to my GTX 970, it seems to work much better with the 970 running PhysX. The creatures that multiply ( I forget there name) seem to cause heavier FPS drops, and other certain enemies that cause specific effects do as well.

Awesome game so far, just a shame it can't sit at 60fps flawlessly. , even though when I disable V-sync I get 120-160fps.

I tried on 2 different Nvidia patches (344.75 and the newest) - Just just got to the zone Hyperion Hub of Heroism, and the spikes seem to be worse here, seems to constantly bounce around in the 50~ range

-I am running everything maxed out in game, with Ambient Occlusion off, and V-Sync off in game, and forced on in the Nvidia control panel.
