Dear all!

I am recording some very old footage VCR onto DVD+R. I triple checked that the player on that VCR-DVD recorder and a separate DVD recorder, both will read the file on the disc. However, i cannot read it on my PC. I need to be able to store these files on a HDD.

Currently i have HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GS24NS70 ATA (LG), this drive reads all latest games and dvd absolutely fine. The disc i am using is "SONY DVD+R 4.7GB".

Do I need to buy DVD-ROM? (i.e. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/1308...1=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0)

Thanks in Advance!

Try ANYDVD , I've use it before for years when I used my HP burner, the disc wouldn't read in the new LG SATA
My heart sank, since I had some kids VHS files on them, and it was a pain to keep putting the IDE drives, now I've got'em copied over to couple SATA drives also
I'm sure there is other programs also,
