Is it worth get another 100mhz for cpu overclock?

I'm at 4.6ghz 3770k with 1.275v in bios and 1.296v during occt. I want to push to 4.7ghz, but at 1.3v in bios, occt gives me blue screen after 3 minutes. I think I need like 1.32v to get stable at 4.7ghz. However, I don't know if 100mhz more gives me much more benefit in term of performance or it is not worth? At 4.6ghz now, max core temp hits 77 degree, but most of the times its around 65-70.

Not worth the effort. You would never see the difference. If 4.6 is stable you already have a very good overclock.

Is it worth it? This is TPU so the answer is always yes.

It's fun to push the edge, but if you just want to use the PC, then 4.6 is great, do not worry. Like every other hobby, even oc'ing gets old after a while.

agreed, which is why i settled on 4 GHZ for my 3570K had it at 4.2-4.4 but didnt notice much of a difference in games.
