I just want to know if this is the best hardware that I can get for my buget (in the 400$ price range w/o peripherals and OS) I want to know if I can get better hardware or if there's any bottleneck or if it's fine!

If you do plan to get a better CPU then I would go for because you can overclock your pentium now and upgrade to i5 or i7 when you get more money

I would probably start with 1 4GB stick of ram as it is the simplest thing to upgrade later. AMD 750K offers same performance as 860K and might be cheaper. If you are even thinking about upgrading CPU in the future, go for intel, if not AMD should be little faster. R7 265 is much better than 260x.

BTW living in Europe sucks, corsair CSM450 would cost me 90$ here....

Open a thread when you are ready to buy because cheap systems as these depend on current offers. As you can see the actual price of the systems is about $480 which comes to 400 after mail in rebates and promo codes. These don't last forever

I would go with Krushas 1st build as well.

In the price range of these and similar parts there is unlikely to be much of a price change in the next few months, maybe a couple of bucks here and there. It is difficult to predict these trends.

Like krush just posted, now you have an idea of what is possible post again when you are closer to D day, a few bucks saved here and there can soon add up to a better gpu for example.

Toms Hardware give good info on price changes with reference to particular in demand and popular components.

This is a good build,
There is a sale on newegg or Microcenter where G3258 CPU and MSI PCMATE z97 for 95.00 dollars
I would recommend getting 240 gig SSD, that plenty of space. Then after some saving you can get 1 gig harddrive

For the Graphic cards, i would check out the gtx 660, gtx670, gtx 760, and gtx 770, i would buy on craiglist for cheaper. I got a gtx 660 oncraiglist for 50 dollars.
gtx 660 - around 60-100 dollars
gtx 670 - arounds 100-120 dollars
gtx 760 - arounds 100-130 dollars
gtx 770 - arounds 150-200 dolalrs

unlogical, unless you don't care what your system looks like, online retailers are going to have a lot more options to chose from.

Since the motherboard he suggested is a matx it can fit into and matx, atx, or full tower case.
The other thing you have to consider is the length of the gpu and see what is the max gpu length of the case use choose

Just do your research and read reviews after you narrow some down. Cheaper many times means poor airflow, or difficulty in getting components in, and fewer fan points (goes along with poor airflow), and many times flimsy. While these points are not always true in a cheap case, they are present enough to warrant careful selection. Airflow should be the number one thing you look at.

Personally if your budget is only $400 and you're planning on buying it in few months would it not be possible to stretch the budget a little more? The 1st option seems like better choice to me aswell.

for g3258 overclocking, I think you just need to upgrade you h81 bios
then it will be able to overclocking with g3258

The thing is that build and those prices are not valid anymore. Now it ends up being about $450. Unless the budget has changed, here is an alternative with a slightly better GPU and MB

450W psu is to low. Sure if you get the gold cert one, your set to go. But for how long. A future upgrade on the video card,would most definitely mean another psu. I have the CX 600. Never looked back.
Btw, i love cheap builds like yours. Reason is cuz i can related on the poverty . Every year i help people build new pc's with budgets just like yours. Were i live people think it's insane to spend more than 1000$ on a pc.
Oh i must say. Someone that i know got himself a new pc around 1k $ in april(2015)-amd. I did a 600$ intel build for a guy in february. There was no real life performance difference.Other then the fact that the amd rig might be for sure more future-proof.
