Recommend me a mouse

Here's what I'm looking for in a mouse.

1. optical sensor
2. right handed ergonomics
3. palm grip (not small)
4. corded

I bought http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MQWOPA6/?tag=tec06d-20 3 months ago and the left click is already double clicking enough for me to throw it in the bin. Aside from that issue it was great.

I'm using my (quite old) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AAQRNQ8/?tag=tec06d-20 at this moment but the laser sensor has an annoying lag.

The cheaper, the better. Any ideas?

Some thing Logitech, why you may as well every mouse i have had failed same reason with double click issue and Logitech carry a 3 year warranty with normally a no hassle rma.

I am a lefty, and still only buy Logitech mice now.

The Etek never was right. The left click was hard to click so I'm assuming a defect. I've never had any mouse die this quick, brand name or not.

Question is, do you want a disposable mouse, or one that will actually last 2 or 3 yrs?

From what I've read, Sentey makes fairly good ones, but they're more like $19-$35 range, rather than $5-$15 bargain bin stuff.

Any mouse can fail though, sometimes it's just luck of the draw. Yours had Omron switches, which are typically used in gaming mice of various brands.

In my experience, you get what you pay for. I have a Logitech G602 and I'm very happy with it. It's the first wireless mouse I've owned that doesn't feel like a wireless mouse. The battery can also last well over a month and a half depending on usage and polling rate. You're paying 50-60 USD for it though. Once again though, you get what you pay for.

Probably not withing your requirements but in general.. I use the Corsair M60 and it's so rock solid that I'm surprised it's taken the beating it has. (I slap my mouse on my mouse pad a lot and slam it down when angry)

Corsair M65 is out which is the same thing really.

Curious what the old (2013 and earlier) Razer Deathadders used. They were the only razer mice whose switches worked for me long term... They changed something in the newer ones, I swear.

I wish amazon had better sorting. There are so many shit mice on there it makes searching a chore.

the steel series Sensei has treated Me very well , plus if the appearence doent matter to You, Get the Diable III themed Version for fairly cheap if You look around.

All these recommendations are using laser sensors.

I like this Anker mouse I'm using but the laser sensor has a slight input lag and acceleration that I can't get rid of which is why I prefer optical.

I have zero lag with the sensei , IMO any mouse worth its weight will do the same. but You'll need to spend some money to get better performance, since they go hand in hand.

What do you do with your mice?

i use them a lot ^^, what happens at 1st normally ( unless razor ) is that switch button rubs against it's own housing which courses a dust build up which in turn courses a very slight stickiness. NOw with Razer the actually plastic that pushes the button wears down so it ends up not pushing the button enough.

When it's the button hitting the casing of thew switch a cotton bud and some isopropyl will fix it untill build up starts again.

Mines due again maybe i will get around in posting a pic dunno yet though.

I use the more expensive one and took a year to start the crap again but so far it's been repairable for now at least.

Like i said i may as well get Logitech mice with a 3 year warranty and just get a replacement though out 3 years and not 1-2 years..

I don't think anyone can properly recommend a mouse (or keyboard) for anyone else. These HIDs (human interface devices) are extensions of our own unique hands and therefore must feel right for us.

We can talk about build quality, tracking, and general size, shape and weight, but only you can decide what feels right in your hands. Therefore, you really need to go visit your local computer stores and play touchy-feely yourself and hope the display models have not been too abused or teaming with body fluids and super-bacteria.

FTR, I don't know who makes the mice and keyboards for Microsoft, but I really like my Wireless Comfort 5000 sets. The keyboard is not too wide (important because I use a keyboard tray under my desk) and curved to ease my RSI in my wrists.

I am right handed but I use my mouse with my left hand so the non-contoured shape works great for me. And the blue laser tracks with no problem on the worn wood grained pattern of my tray. I have dropped the mouse a couple times with worst case being the batteries flew out. Being a set, the mouse and keyboard use just one Bluetooth dongle - which is nice.

Its pricey but Func MS3 revision two. $60 but good for palm or full hand grip with finger rests makes it perfect for my larger hand. Its double what you want spend however.

Thanks. I used to wear something similar but actually, moving my mouse to the left and using the curved keyboard with a wrist rest keeps it in check. And I use a Belkin mouse wrist pillow too.

The Sharkoon Fireglider is what I'm using ATM. Bought it on massdrop for $19 + Shipping (unfortunately not available there anymore) after my $140 (when they first came out) Razer Mamba fell apart like the cheap piece of junk it is - plastic button extrusions slipping off to the sides of the microswitches inside, themb-pad falling off, plastic cracking under use... also the only mouse that wouldn't track on the Razer Exactmat was the only Razer mouse I owned

I've been using the sharkoon full-time on my gaming PC for about a year now, maybe a year and a half; no signs of starting to wear out - even the mouse feet are holding up fairly well.

There's both an Optical and a Laser version, though you might have a hard time finding the Optical version. Probably about "average" size; If I palm-grip mine, my fingertips stick over the end of the mouse about a cm or so but it's still useable. I tend to slide my hand back on the mouse so my wrist rests on the desk and claw grip the thing but depending on your hand size, palm grip may work for you. Adjustable weight (though even maxed out it's not really heavy; I'd probably put a bit more weight in if it let me; that said it works quite well with what it has). I didn't think I'd like the grippy thing on left side, but after using it I actually do.

There's your standard 3+2 arrangements of buttons, with the left/right, clickable scrollwheel and two left side buttons. There's also the DPI button below the wheel (I use mine maxed out all the time - 5870 pixels with a flick of the wrist FTW) and a gimmicky 3-shot burst button beside the wheel that fires off the left click three times in quick succession which - well I suppose if that's your sort of thing... I use it to get into vehicles at the start of the round on BF4 and that's it. Not sure if it's reassignable with the software as I don't use it (the software or the button for the most part).

All-in-all I'm quite happy with it. Certainly happier than I was with the Mamba or even the Logitech G700
