So I finally took the leap into the water cooling world and have been getting nothing but issues. Right now my system wont turn on (power supply clicks on for a second and then turns right off) when I have the EATX12v (8pin) cable plugged in, but when I disconnect that from the mobo and only have the EATXPWR 24pin plugged in it powers on (the fans still don't spin and video card doesn't give a signal out but the lights turn on and the water pump (I'm water cooling) starts. Anyone have any ideas?

Mobo: Asus Maximus VII Impact
PS: Seasonic 1200w Platinum
Video card: XFX R9 295x2

Just tried a different power supply and same issue.

Update: Just took everything apart and re-seated the CPU and water block and put everything back together. Now It will stay on but no display and code 00 is displayed on the motherboard.

Hey jagger, thanks for the help. Sadly already tried to do the easy flash and when I do the red light on the MoBo flashes for about 2 second then stays on solid red. Looked it up and apparently that means theres an issue with flashing the bios. So fed up with this board.... Took out the board again and loosed the waterblock and now the display on the mobo shows random codes and doesn't stop. Thinking I'll be sending this to be RMA'd :-(.

Check the CPU pins on the Motherboard, and if they are alright re-install the CPU and cooler, but don't over tighten it.

Just got the RMA'd motherboard and had the same issue but this time I added one upgrade at a time and just the basic power attachments. After a little while I narrowed down the problem to a screw shorting the Mobo....what a headache.... Now everything is good to go for now, just having issues with my XSPC water pump / reservoir. This build is becoming a pain haha. Thank you for the help! Now I'm off to RMA the pump :-(
