Introduction
Guild of Dungeoneering is closer to a guild management system than a pure-bred dungeon crawler. It's Gambrinous' fanciful pen & paper take on how the backbones of all these AAA might look if you were in the CEO spot of managing heroes. It's very childish in art style, and stupendously easy for anyone to pick up and play. Versus Evil are publishing this one, among a tonne of other games dropping this summer. It fits neatly in its very own genre, throwing your managed heroes into dungeons, forcing you to build them as you go along, without any real direct control over your heroes' numerous whims. There's expansion, permadeath, and a grand plethora of various monsters and stats and effects to take heed of. It looks to be D&D for the mobile crowd, and one of the more original titles I've reviewed to date.
