Looking for advice on most efficient setup for cooling. Just got my NZXT Kraken X61 and Air 540. Also got my self a pair of NF-A14.

I figure push pull? Which set of fans (NF-A14/NZXT) should be doing the pushing and the pulling?

The plastic works just fine.

As to the fans, your NZXT fans have more power than the Noctua ones. To be honest it likely wont make any difference if the Noctua fans are on the radiator or not.

So, best to pull air from the top or front of the case? I see many setups with the rad on the top, but not sure if they're in push or pull config. I'll have to do more reading when I have time.

Front usually gets the coolest air to the rad, but dumps all of its heat into the chassis.
Top mounting does not offer the coldest of intake, but removes all of the heat by pushing it out of the case.
