How to do this with any MP3 song, Please advise

Hi Team,

I want to know this very badly..

I want to edit song with lesser volume effect. (less... lesser... mute... effect )

Suppose I have 1 min sound file, so what I want is that from 55 seconds to 60 seconds that sound file should sound less.... lesser.. finally mute (rather than abruptly ending it.) because I have to use that 1 min sound clip for my animation which is of only 1 minute .

We see such thing happening while playing one song after other by manually minimizing the Volume button on some devices.

Please advise, how to achieve such simple thing in sound Editing.

yes, right. I was not getting that..!

I will check Audiocity after going home... But can we re-create a song and save with fade out effect....?
I will get to know that option later when I am off work, just asking asking in advance...

I am a complete noob with editing software but even I managed to do it with Audacity

Not on my PC right now, but if I remember correctly all you have to do is import the file, select the part you want to "fade out" and there should be a fade out button at the top of the screen somewhere. You should be able to figure it out

Oh, and I recall something about having to install an additional thingy (I think it's called LAME.dll or something) if you want to export the edited file as mp3, but once again I can't check right now

Fadein and Fadeout function. Every single audio editor (even free ones) has these.

yeah, you can but keep in mind the result is from the song itself, if you have crappy song quality, you can do nutting to make it like better more

Fantastic ! It worked... I could do what I want! Yes, I did download that LAME for Windows and could export Audio too! Didn't get time to do it for so many days...but finally did it! :lovetpu:
