Looks like just the Strix is up here at the site...

I believe @W1zzard reviewed it so hoping if the populous doesn't have one, he can upload it. :)

Thanks in advance TPU

Lol, it's certainly not that... but none, that I could see - likely missed, say ln2 bios on it???

Let me check again...
...nope. though the first one has a different clock? I didnt look at device IDs and bios versions. Though it would be nice if it was in the description (unless I missed it).

EDIT: The reason I ask is that I switched over to the ln2 bios, connected the jumpers, and I lost memory overclocking. That said, in error i attempted to flash the ln2 bios (I say attempted because it just hung but didnt do a thing and I was supposed to be flashing the first bios). So I want to make sure that it wasn't a flash gone wrong causing the issues. ;)

Mate... you really didn't back up the bios?

I guess manufacturers need to ship an read only USB bundled to lower RMA rates and recover original bios.

My five cents.

Those OC tools are so bug driven. They dislike bios and driver changes and get corrupt with the profiles if many are present. You need to do cleaning and get rid of them, also remove driver for new proper registry entries. Then bios switch. Then again setting up the turf.

I copied the stock bios... what I thought I was flashing. But in between when I captured it, I swapped over to the ln2 to test something and didn't switch back, lol.

But like I said, it didn't work.. didn't even start. I hit enter and it sat there for 10 mins. So I closed it out.

@W1zzard - Was that the LN2 BIOS? I need that BIOS, not the normal one as I believe was linked (again, nothing I caught says LN2 on it).

Thanks again!

I think that's the normal BIOS, dont have the LN2 one. Check the unverified uploads

I did. :)

The problem is that none state it is the LN2 bios. Is it possible, at your convenience, to snag the LN2 bios out of that card and post it up?

Does anyone have this card and can upload the stock LN2 bios please?

I just checked, both BIOS files are the same

They are? That is........ weird. Thank you for checking!

I would imagine then that disabling OCP/OVP/powerlimits, etc, is done at the hardware level when you connect the two points on the back of the card and flip the switch? It does more than just switch to a different BIOS...

Again, I am having an issue that, when I flip the switch with the two points soldered (the only way you get to LN2 mode for the record - if you just flip the switch, nothing changes - did you connect those points when you checked?), I lose memory overclocking. Does your sample do this by chance?

I believe, but am not 100% sure, that needs to happen to access that BIOS? Or perhaps it is just the OCP/OVP, etc. I know when I switched to LN2, nothing changed in GPU Tweak as far as voltage I could increase, etc, until I connected the pads. Only then was it truly unlocked.

Weird... ok I am talking with ASUS now. I assume the LN2 mode is the same BIOS sans OCP/OVP etc that is disabled... I will report back. :)

EDIT: Are you able to set memory clocks past stock in LN2 mode with the pads connected? That is my problem. With LN2 mode enabled, I lose memory overclocking.
