Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 replacement fans needed ASAP

So my Sapphire Tri-X OC R9 290 fans have started to die (just 2) :banghead:

and are annoying the shit out of me quite frankly, they're loud, rattly and really not instilling me with any confidence atm to be able to game on my GPU right now

.....

The only solution I have found online is this from china, but tbh the price is quite high and I could probably get a custom cooler for the same price http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171940548476?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I'm not even sure they are proper Sapphire parts instead of some cheap Chinese crap.....

Can anyone help me finding either replacement fans or a custom cooler for the Sapphire Tri-X R9 290. Are there compatible fans I can buy that wont cost me an arm and a leg and don't come from some dodgy Chinese ebay seller?

Unfortunatly not that I am aware of, depending on the age of the card however Sapphire is pretty good about RMA'ing a cooler issue.

The alternative is buying an arctic extreme cooler custom cooler.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully someone can be more help for you in this situation. Have you attempted to contact Sapphire to see if they can provide anything for replacements or pricing? I know some vendors are good in this area and others aren't. Not sure what they can do for you in your area and with pricing, but it's worth a shake.

Otherwise, might be a good time to try an aftermarket solution (maybe an AIO?). That kit you link to looks pretty close to what I would expect to see replacements for. I would expect the parts for the cards were made in China to begin with, so between that and clones you're bound to me limited here.

What if you take the shroud off and zip tie some 92/120mm fan(s) on? I've done that before with pretty good success...yes it isn't as pretty, but it's usually quieter and more effective. Seeing that your system specs say you only have one card and no add-in sound card or NIC listed, if your lower PCI(e) slots are clear, why not make use of them?

Sapphire pretty shitty in replying to any RMA tickets I raised as I wasn't the original purchaser and all I got was standard replies from them, I even said I wasn't the original purchaser but would pay for replacement fan/cooler and everytime they gave me a standard reply to contact the reseller/original purchaser for RMA and closed off my ticket......

Turns out it's only the middle fan as I was so sick of the rattling I pulled the card out and without using any kind of force the middle fan came right off the bearings, plugged her back in and it's whisper quiet, also ran F.E.A.R and Resi 5 benches just to warm the card up (vsync off obviously so framerate uncapped) and the GPU ran without fault and is quiet as a mouse, I was getting like 300+ FPS in both benches so the GPU was definitely being put to work, max temp with only both end fans was 76c

Do we have any Sapphire reps active on the forums who might be able to help me out on this occasion and not just fob me off with a rehearsed response? otherwise does anyone know the spec of the fans on the Tri-X coolers so perhaps I can just source a replacement and replace the middle fan?

Just take the plastic crap off un screw the fans un plug them and get some zip ties on some better fans

EDIT: I have a MK-13 which uses a Fan bracket, MAYBE if you can pick one of those up cheap or some thing like it.

There is the Jetart SF2100 3D PCI Slot Fan Cooler how ever only uses 70mm fans
