I just picked up a 1920x1080 samsung 21.5" and have decided that I prefer 16:9 over 16:10 for gaming. It just feels more natural as far as FOV goes. I was afraid that the dot pitch would be a bit on the small side compared to my 22" 1680x1050, but I actually find the finer pitch to be easier on my eyes for some reason.
i went from a 22" samsung (16:10) to this 23.6" samsung (16:9) and i must admit, 16:10 can go to hell. everything just seems easier to see, no more trying to read things in my peripheral vision.
