Looks like Micro Center just listed the 2600k's for $199.99 in-store PRICES GOOD 04/13/12 - 04/15/12
This calls for obscene language! Wizzle wuzzle whoop whoop THAT'S A DAMN GOOD PRICE!
To bad it would take me $50 round trip and half a day to get one.
Same like me. The closest one from where I lived is in Santa Clara, but I live 3-4 hours away
Do they charge tax?
Depends on where your at. If the state charges sales tax, then yes. Keep in mind you have to go directly to the store to get that price.
Ah, *poof goes the awesome deal*; where I live the sales tax is horrendous.
I would say so they $334 or something for one in Canada Computers
I picked mine up at the store 10 mins away at launch and in-store was $279 and same when I got the Mrs.'s 2600k 2 months ago....think total with tax was like $314 but not sure since other parts were purchased as well so it's a helluva deal. If you know someone thats close to one maybe you could work a deal for them to grab one and ship it to ya.
i live 10 minutes away from one. O.O
just got one today... and if you combo it with a mobo you get $50 off the mobo as well. i made off like a bandit today
Man that's cheap and $50 for a z68 mobo, this makes me want to jump of a roof.
Man, thats BS...
got it for sale in my thread...
Same here. I got my 2500K there for $180 at new years.
Their 2600Ks were usually around $260, so this is a big drop.
WHY CAN'T I LIVE IN AMERICA.
Yea for $280!!
Hmm, trying to rape fellow TPU members? Damn!
It's a little cheaper that what you can find on the web cuz you're not paying for tax or shipping.
It's not the deal he got but it is still cheaper than what you can find for new.
Anyways prices here at TPU have a funny way of getting bumped and lowering eventually...
Your welcome, were you able to grab one?
