With the recent surge in remote work, more people than ever are building out their work from home setups in order to remain productive while sheltering in place. We're happy to be able to now bring you the newly available Zone Wired headset, a wired version of the existing Zone Wireless headset that is also certified for Google Meet and Google Voice, in addition to Microsoft Teams certification.

"Remote work can be challenging, especially right now since people are setting up makeshift offices in shared spaces with loved ones," says Martin Ruddle, Director of Personal Solutions, Logitech Video Collaboration division. "With the Zone Wired headset's noise-cancellation features and dual-mic technology, you'll be able to take calls comfortably, without distraction, no matter who else is in your office, kitchen or living room."

Zone Wired is designed for all-day use with a silicone head cushion and memory-foam ear pads that provide a comfortable fit. Whether you have a loud toddler or family member perfecting the saxophone, Zone Wired will provide crisp audio on video calls or while listening to your own music thanks to its 40 mm audio drivers. Noise-canceling dual mic technology accurately suppresses distracting sounds like keyboard clicks or nearby talkers. For moments when you need to quickly go on mute, the mic boom features a flip-to-mute function that provides immediate privacy any time, and LED indicators on the controller provide at-a-glance confirmation of this function—for that added peace of mind your co-worker can't hear the dog barking.

The new headset has integrated mute controls with Zoom so you see on screen mute visuals when you flip-to-mute your mic or mute from the in-line controller. Zone Wired also works with other popular video calling applications such as Cisco Jabber, BlueJeans, and GoToMeeting.

Additionally, Zone Wired headsets are Certified for Microsoft Teams, enabling the mic to remove outside conversations from being overheard on your call - no matter who is desperately trying to get your attention. Additionally, the Microsoft Teams version of Zone Wired includes a Teams button on the in-line controller, making it easy to launch a Microsoft Teams meeting with a single click or pick up and answer a Teams call.

For businesses looking to outfit remote employees, Zone Wired is now available through major resellers, so be sure to check with your local distributor. For employees looking to optimize their work from home setup and focus on their video calls, Zone Wired is also available now on our website. In June, we expect to have Microsoft Teams certified versions of Zone Wireless available as well.

Not too bad. These support wideband audio (100Hz - 16KHz) for the microphone, so it wont sound like a cheaply-made-but-insanely overpriced headset from an office-ripoff company, such as Jabra.

These cost $129 on the Logitech site, so should be cheaper elsewhere.

They also do a wireless version of these, which are garbage, and twice the cost... Interestingly, the microphone on the wireless version has a better frequency response, however the headphone frequency response is in line with the typical crap nasty enterprise (Jabra) offerings (30Hz to 13kHz +-10dB) which is in the realm of most $10 headphones from China.
