Transcend Information (Transcend), a leading manufacturer of embedded memory products, is proud to release the latest U.2 NVMe SSD, the UTE210T. Designed for generative AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and big data analytics, this powerful SSD is built with the 112-layer 3D NAND flash, an 8-channel controller, and a PCIe Gen 4x4 interface. Experience high speeds, low latency, and minimal power consumption with your systems, but most of all, enjoy sequential R/W speeds of up to 7,200/6,500 MB/s and stable and reliable system performance that supports various applications of use.

Compliant with the NVMe 1.4 specification, Transcend's UTE210T comes bundled with a U.2 connector, enabling the drive to configure the PCIe interface with the U.2 backplane, ultimately enhancing transfer stability without compromising your servers. To address the demanding workloads associated with AI, its built-in DRAM provides exceptional random read speeds, which not only reduces NAND flash Program/Erase cycles (P/E cycles), but effectively extends drive lifespan to help manage a wide range of workloads. The UTE210T comes with up to 8 TB of storage capacity, ensuring servers and data centers are able to process vast amounts of data without compromising system performance.

A key feature of the U.2 SSD UTE210T is the Power Loss Protection (PLP) functionality. This feature safeguards critical data in events of unexpected power loss and/or failure, ensuring data integrity. Meanwhile, the use of extended temperature technology allows for the SSD to operate reliably under extreme temperature conditions ranging from -20°C to 75°C, ensuring sustained performance even in environments with frequent thermal cycling.

Last but not least, Transcend is proud to offer the exclusive Scope Pro monitoring software, which was developed with smart remote management in mind. Functions include S.M.A.R.T. analysis, early warning notifications, Over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, system cloning, as well as many other useful features that help to keep the SSD in tip-top shape and maximize its lifespan over time.

As a leading brand in the field of embedded memory and storage products, Transcend is committed to being a global innovator at the forefront of memory technology. We have a strong research and development team and experienced tech support team deployed globally, and our manufacturing base in Taiwan allows us to provide competitive storage solutions that help us stay at the forefront of the global market.

Transcend's industrial-grade SSDs come with a three-year limited warranty, and wide-temp models (-40°C to 85°C) are available upon request.

I wish more motherboard manufacturers would make consumer boards with U.2 ports on them. I've seen some EVGA boards with them but I wouldn't necessarily call those consumer boards. I'd rather a board come with a U.2 plus 4 SATA ports rather than 6 SATA ports.
