32" HDTV picture

Hmm seems like the same problem my downstairs tv has. It's 42" samsung and it can't output 1080p correctly. I don't think you can do much about it other than get a new screen or live with it.

three resolutions in HDTV's

1280x720
1360x768
1920x1080

Many screens only do 1080i (interlaced) which is why it looks bad - even if you 'force' 60Hz (progressive) it aint doing it, its cant display what it cant display.

Whichever res looks clearest is the native run it at 60Hz. ignore the max windows says - the HDMI specs make it so it has to report 1080i @ 30Hz
