3650 agp or 8500 gt pci e

i am just wondering what on its better performer i was given the 8500gt and i dont know if i should go to my new hardware yet or not oh and they are both 512MB

Assuming they're both of the DDR2 flavour, the 3650 is faster.

Either will be as good as the other watching video and playing old games, not much use for other stuff and I think asking which is the better performer of 2 cards that go back 3 generations and were low end at the time is a bit of an oxymoron :eek:

Amen to that. The 3650 probably edges out the 8500 but the difference is negligible at best.

Your mobo has both an AGP and PCI-E?

3650. i got one of those and i played crysis on high at 1280 x 800.(WXP, 3 Gb Ram and Quad Core 2.4 Ghz) good old video card.

ya my 3650 is faster but now i can use my dfi lanparty rdx200 cf-dr and my 3200+ wile i wait for my amd 6000 and my 3870x2 ...lol

There isn't a 3650 part with ddr3. Unless a company like powercolor or galaxy created a non reference card.

Correction to the above:
Asus & Sapphire makes one but it retails at ~$120

Run the 8500GT for a bit, see how you like it. Back a few years with my 7600GS (8500 GT just barely edged it) I was gaming @ 1280x720 would handle quite a few games then. The really good thing to look at is with the 8500GT you would have CUDA, which with proper apps installed, could help the 3200+ in processing power.
