Retail 3770k purchased 2 weeks ago.

No warranty since delidded, cleaned, reset with Cool Laboratory Liquid Pro and IHS glued back on with Alumina thermal sealant.

The Good: low voltage, low temps on air cooling (4.8ghz offset overclock load 1.24v-1.28v range on air cooling Venomous-X with 2 fans).

The Bad: extremely weak IMC on P67 motherboard, maybe better on your Z68 or Z77. On my P67 will not boot DDR3 2133. Will boot 1866 @ 4.8ghz and 1600 @ 5.0ghz.

The Skinny: $330 paypal only shipped USPS priority CONUS lower 48 United States only. Selling AS IS since it is a delidded chip. Pulled out as a working chip that passed IBT at maximum settings.

EDIT: 4.9GHZ IBT MAX SETTINGS ON AIR

Retested on a Z68 Asus MIVE.
Still no boot for DDR3 2133.
However, swapped out to a pair of Ballistix LV 2x4GB DDR3 1866 kit.
    Booted up under XMP setting DDR3 1866 to 4.8ghz, 4.9ghz, 5.0ghz.

Warmer testing ambient, inferior air cooler Prolimatech Armageddon (compared to the Venomous-X used above and definitely to NH-D14).
However, passed IBT/linX under maximum settings on mid-high range air cooling 4.9ghz (offset load range 1.33-1.36v) DDR3 1866.

    4.9GHZ IBT maximum settings pass:

With a better air cooler load temps would have been under 80c at 4.9ghz.

you have a good cpu, others they are paying > 500 euro for such a cpu.Don't be....hasty.Try the cpu with some good memory and a z77 motherboard for sure it will work more than 2500 mhz,i've never heard about a 3770k which cannot sustain 2500 mhz.
try as well to see the maximum frequency on which you can boot in windows at 1.5 v.please give me a pm with the result, maybe i will take it.
    LagunaX says thanks.

Updated original post for 4.9GHZ IBT Max settings run on slightly inferior air cooling.
