Yeah, I'm with you on that one Morgoth, I don't see the point in a 256MB version. Saying that, yeah it'll be cheaper, but if you plan on playing some sort of DX10 (at some point) then you'll need at least 512MB.

There was no 512MB version of the 1950XT available for AGP, only the 1950Pro came with 512MB of RAM, that's what I never bought it...

Back to topic, has anyone actually seen one of these cards in the US?:banghead:

I was laughing at the fact you've pre-ordered it, not the fact you've got a decent score... bum'ead.

Just waiting for the Sapphire 512 AGP to show up and the driver issues to get ironed out. Then we can see what a good old P4 can do with this card.

Wanna hear the latest news on these cards? Interested in GECUBE's board? I bring you news from the future!!

Yes! You read that right, :slap: Woah, a press release from the future!!! According to GECUBE, their AGP 3850 has been shipping since Feb 20th, 2008! (Nevermind the fact that today is Feb 3rd, 2008) Now all we need to do is set our desktop calendars to Feb 21st, 2008, and we'll undoubtedly be able to buy this cards from Newegg, ClubIT, Tiger Direct, or any of our favorite e-tailers! :banghead: :nutkick:

    :toast: Source!! :toast:
