newbie just starting, which would better?
i have a ga-ma78gm-us2h with the 780g chipset, sb700, and ati radeon hd3200 onboard hybrid crossfire ready.

will the ati radeon 3850 outperform the 3650 using hybrid crossfire onboard?

amb 7750 black edition cpu, 3.177ghz, 15.5x multiplier, 205 bus speed, 1840 ht

onboard vid is 500mhz clocked to 600 and stock uma is 256 but clocked at 512

3850 will kill the 3650 + hybrid crossfire. The 3850 has a much more powerful core, has more shaders and uses ddr3 memory. The 3650 only has ddr2 memory.

You can crossfire a 3850 with another 3850 or a 3870. It won't work with hybrid crossfire.

I don't think you can CF the 3650 and that onboard. I have a Biostar 790GX and a 3650 and it wouldn't let me CF them.

Yeah 790GX I got is SB750 with 3300 onboard, says only supports 3450/3470, wonder why the older and weaker on board would support more options? Either way the 3300 is only as powerful as a 3450 and 2x 3450's aren't as powerful as a 3650 so it would be killing my performance, but still strange.

yea after i think about it, is krazy. didnt wanna sound like a jerk or like a know it all. and i make mistakes. lol. i will not deny that. its been about 3 months since i got that thing havnnt even used it. but if it did work it would just clock the better board down and ruin the perf. again sorrys :)

lol HD 4770 only goes up to crossfire, not 3/4x xfire. But yea one of those is better than the 8800GT/HD 4830, performance i'd say 8800GTS G92 is it's perfect match.

EDIT: also, update your system specs in user cp and make them visible to public. ;)
