3DMARK05 no install (remove previous version)

Just like the title says .I couldnt remove old install with add remove so I removed all folders and registry entries for 3DMARK05 but still same error remove previous version then the app stops the install . Big Time Bummer:banghead:

If you have the install's saved then i'd remove all furture mark stuff clean the registry then do a file search find it all.Then hopefully you can install it again.

But i haven't had the problem with futuremark..i have a problem with tweak xp pro ive uninstalled it removed everything and still show a ramdisk on my system allong with a tweak xp thing in my control panel.Think the only way is to reformat but its too much work for 1 hommo program.

no luck , still same issue ...I uninstalled all the other futuremark apps then went threw OS and deleted all futuremark stuff then deleted all future mark and 3dmark05 registry settings and still same error

Ok well I found the culprit...It was an add remove folder in the registry , I had deleted the entry for 3dmark05 but didn't delete the folder because it had some funky number name , but once I deleted that folder that was responsible for the add remove entry I was GOLDEN :toast: ..thanks for all the suggestions:toast: :toast: :toast: I now have it installed again !!!:)

I just downloaded and checked out the CCleaner and its really a different beast than Registry Mechanic.... I didn't let it do any fixes though as I don't know if I trust this CCleaner ...I haven't heard much about this app..Any testimonials for this app?
