4770 - high idle temp?

    Overclocked and is full stable in Furmark.

    Is this high idletemp för a 4770? The room is very hot to.

    58C is a bit hot at idle, but what's important is the load temp witch are?

    I cranked the fan speed to 45% and the max temp was 79-80c in furmark. Seems to a bit high? Maybe underclock?

    furmark is not an example try anything :\
    try to mesure the temp while gaming. im sure it will be around 70-72C

    Yeah, the temp never goes to 80c while gaming. Thanks. The idletemp is probably because of summer temps. It is hot here in Sweden in August. :(

    80c is fine for load, thats how much my 5850 direct cu goes to with fan at 25%

    80C is not good for HD5000 at all dude. do yourself a favor and put the fan on at least 35%

    i also have a xfx hd4770.
    my load temp is usually around 70 C in furmark.
    also when gaming i just increase the fan to 100%, then turn back down when finished.
    i also had a look around google for hd 4770 temps and it seems to be a hot card

    edit. my idle temp is usually around 50 c, but mine is not overclocked
