I think shipping is like $5 or so. And it has Free Ship to Store option too.

Very very good deal. OCs like mad, I have a set and put a mem fan and its golden.

I have both Samsung chips and Elpidia chips version and both rock.

good price but PC2-6400 with CL=6 hmmm. It's strange, anywhere in the world, the price of memory declines.

lol exactly. anybody wanting 4gb probably doesn't wanna settle for cas 6. The only way this purchase would make sense to me would be to put each stick in a different machine for a couple customers. But then if one of them failed, you'd have to explain to the other customer why you need to rma their ram too

that wasent my point (probably because im old) I remember when DDR1 was $400 for a 1 gig stick..
And as to the cas6 thing most people that know will pass because the memory is probably cas4 that couldnt cut it..
But for the rest of the universe take an ECS mobo the mem and a X2 BE 2400 and you have a dual core, 4 gig comp for under $100. (king of value!)

They work fine at CAS 6 @ 1T upto DDR2 980, it works fine @ CAS 5 when you up the voltage to 2.1V and put a fan on it. Mine is at DDR2 980 CAS6 1T @1.98V with the crab fan on it. What more can you ask for $20:mad:

Infact the set I have is just DDR2 667 1.8V, but it works fine @ above stated speed.

Hey today the mem is FREE SHIPPING TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont see why Crucial, which is owned by Micron, doesnt stick with Micron chips. At least with these, its gone through their awesome Quality Department.

ok, I see your point now and you're right. I forgot how expensive memory used to be lol
Honestly, if I was the type to buy something just to try it out I would buy a pair of these just based on that. I don't really need any more ram right now though and when I do I'll probably get some really nice stuff.

Got it upto same speed as other sticks on the machine, didn't have time to meddle around. Its also a server, so I am going to leave it there.

The chip has a 'M' with ring shape around it. So I am guessing this is Micron Chips. Whats the best Micron chip? D9? How do I identify this?

I think it looks something like the one attached.

And the sticks are MADE IN USA :rockout:

I honestly don't know much about micron chips, just that they're supposed to be insanely awesome. And D9 is the one I always hear people talk about. You should make a thread in a different section of the forum so more people see it.
