Thank you, I'll let you know very soon. It's for a friend and I have to ask him first. I will "strongly" persuade him on these

Edit: Friend just invested in an i7 system and has no coins for the ram at this moment. Sorry RX7... :shadedshu

Good luck with the sale, at this price, it shouldn't take too long :toast:

Noticing the little"specially engineered for Intel blah, blah" would this set work on a AMD rig? I ask due to interest in the ram.

Works on AMD boards (2 tested)

ken, I have the exact same ram kit on my Phenom II 955 rig. It works excellent tested over 2 boards so far, one board did a hair better than the other....but both will run 1600Mhz cas6 no problem. The little Gigabyte 770 board I'm on right now will even run over the rated speed at cas8 1T though it's only certified to hit 1666Mhz ram on this board. It only stops working when you hit 1900Mhz on this board (apparently a bios compatibility thing with the Gigy boards). I ran the ram on my old ASUS board on the lowest level (1.5v) with no problems at all. Lowest on the Gigabyte board is 1.6v which I run all day. The highest speed was achieved with 1.7v on the Gigy board which may be bettered by a better board.

A few screenshots of proof of compatablity (with AMD) to help the OP sell. :toast:
