i have 2 Nvidia GeForce 8800GTS laying around one 640mb (EVGA) the other one 320mb (Albatron) i them in my Asus Maximus V Extreme board i can find both under PhysX options but there ain't any SLi options ain't the SLI-able?

i use the newest WHQL Driver and i reinstalled it couple of times, and turned my Asus ROG SLi bridge around and it still not helping, anything i am doing wrong? :wtf:

You can't SLI 2 cards with different memory size.

and i already did that, just installed HyperSLi soo much faster and no problems, tired of installing driver, uninstalling driver and so in even used Driver Sweeper didn't help.

You are correct going by that article though it looks to be very outdated and mentions you need coolbits, google brings up a download from 2004... have you tried with the 320mb in the top pcie slot?

i was kinda hoping for a navtive Nvidia SLi since some games just starts up with black screen :/

that could be a solution, i will try that asap....


hmm now i tired the 320mb in PCI-Express x16_1 adn the 640mb in PCI-Express x16_2b but that neither triggers the SLi option...
