Dadi_Oh and Creatre should both PM with your shipping info so I can get you a real card.

Hi all..
first of all hi everybody, i just entered this forum.

I have a great problem trying to install XP 32bit on my pc:
- Intel core 2 duo - E7200
- mobo ASUS P5N-E SLI
- XpertVision 9600GT DDR3 PCI-e 2.0
- 2x1 GB DDR2 team 800Mhz
- HDs sAta and Ide

After installing this hw and finished the first part of installation (file copy from cd to hd)
the system asked for reboot and after that i always receive the same error (dump in blue screen)

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF789E63C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I've flashed the latest (1201) bios but nothing changed.
i thought it was because of mobo has a pci-e 1.0 and GPU is Pci-e 2.0 but it seems to downscale the bus to 1.0 so it should work.
Someone can help please?

Thanks a lot guys

Shouldn't have anything to do with PCI-e 1.1 vs 2.0. I had that motherboard a while back and XP installed fine with my 9600GT. It sounds like the installation is corrupted. Is the CD clean and scratch free?

Also, this is unlikely the video card so I would start a new thread in the "general hardware" section with as much detail as you can provide. That will increase your chance of getting help.
