9800PRO 128 bit

    Ever heard of something like that? Palit Daytona 9800PRO 256DDR, 128 bit:

    I wonder, because ati says clear in the specifications: 256 bits for all 9800PRO. I find it pretty weird. The mem clock is also odd.

    Maybe the other 128bits are locked? Can they somehow be unlocked if they are as I say?

    I think I have heard of 128-bit 9800 Pros, but they are by no means common. You may be able to flash the BIOS with one from another 9800 Pro. That might fix it.

    are you completly sure that by flashing the bios my video card will work on 256 bits? perhaps the card is built so, on 128 bit platform.
