Just put together a similar, but lesser spec'd box for my wife using:

Athlon II X2 250, Asrock 760G motherboard, 4GB DDR2, HD5670 1GB. I had leftover DDR2, hence the 760G and not 8xx. She plays at 1680x1050. That 5770 is more like my 4870, and I play at 1920x1200.

If there's something better for the money, IDK, not familiar with Australian prices. But what you have now should do really well at that resolution with a good deal of eye candy enabled.

the specs i was going to reccomend are similar enough to what you found, that will be fine.

i dont know the board, but make sure it has unlock potential - you could get lucky with that CPU and get some extra cores out of it.

If a 4890 is about the same performance than a 5770 i be more than willing to test a few games out for you if i have them.
