Hi.

I read on a website that the X1650Pro model is a X1600XT with a mask......certainly this could be truth 'cause the chip of the X1650Pro is the RV530XT, the one that uses the X1600XT model (if I recall correctly).

Well, the question is if the X1650PRO is exactly the same than the X1600XT???????

I think something MUST be changed (other than the name)......hope you can clarify my question.

Thanx :toast:

there underlying differences are small. they both use the same gpu, if memory serves me. the X1650Pro basically replaced the X1600XT when ATI 'refreshed' their product lines. small bump in core/mem speed. some companies have elected to use DDR3 instead of DDR2 for memory, that would probably be the biggest difference.
