Im setup as a work group. also on a restart it goes to a domain like login screen as well. how can i go about changing this, I havent had much luck lookin in control panel

I think the setting is in the Contro Panel, under User Accounts. Change the way users log on/off. It's sounds like it's set for Classic log on.

Well, just use Ctrl + Shift + Esc. If you ever move to Vista, that's what it uses nwo too, otehrwise you get a similar screen, where you choose if you want the task manager, want to log off, shut down, etc.

That is, Ctrl + Shift + Esc if it keeps changing on its own. If it does keep changing back, you might have another problem. Absolute best fix for any Windows problem is always a reinstall though, just as a heads-up :p
