Ok i bought a new A10-7850K and Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-UP4 and i'm having nothing but problems with it.

First problem is it runs very hot. When in BIOs it sits around 62*C and than when i boot into Windows it skyrockets past 80*C and than calms and idles around 70*C. I'm using custom loop that had 3x 240MM Radiators but now 2x 240MM as i was trying to see if temps would change but oddly enough they didn't.

Second problem is i can't get the AMD CCC drivers to install. When ever i try to install them it hangs at detecting graphics hardware. I've tried 14.4-14.7 with no luck. Using Windows 8.1 Pro x64

Please someone i really need help.

Software A lot.
Benchmark Scores Its fast. Enough.
Sounds like a defective chip, the temps cannot be that high, and if it isn't being properly recognized by the drivers it may be damaged.

That board is FM2/FM2+... are you running the latest BIOS (F5 for rev.3.0 boards)?

Also, is the voltage set too high? My Gigabyte AM3 and AM3+ boards usually put way more voltage on the chip than necessary with Auto settings.

If these items are ok then I agree with @Steevo , you may have a bad chip.

Ok after updating this no change. Gonna try a fresh Windows install and see if that helps.
