This price is a great deal! When I was shopping for monitors this size and resolution in December, this one cost $250+ everywhere.

Great monitor if someone needs one, but I don't think I could get used to the loss of real-estate vertically.

erocker, what resolution are you running now? I went from a 2048x1536 CRT to a 2048x1156 LCD and hardly even noticed the lost vertical space. I can guarantee you though, that if I went to a 1920x1200 monitor, I'd be sorely missing those extra 128 pixels on the sides. Multitaskers benefit more from using apps side-by-side than above/below I think. Plus, for widescreen movies, it's already a 16:9 screen, so 1080p fits just right, and anything wider still has less letterboxing than a 16:10 screen.

I love 2048x1152 screen res

If I had $180 to blow and the need for a second monitor I would jump on this- height adjustment is the only thing missing from my Samsung.

Yep, I'm using a 24" 1920x1200 screen. My screen itself is about 13" tall. This Acer has a screen about 8.5 inches tall. I could get used to it and all, but I would have a hard time gaming for a while making that switch. Plus, I spent way too much money for my current monitor already. :laugh:
