If you live in Canada NCIX.com is one of your best choices as they are based in Canada and have very competitive prices.

    This would be my choice:

    GPU: Sapphire HD7870 $349

    CPU: i5-3570k (LGA 1155) $235

    Mobo: AsRock Z77 Extreme 4 $149

    RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws Z 2x4GB DDR3 @ 2400Mhz $112

HDD: 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black $110

Case: Fractal Design R3 (Black) $110

PSU: OCZ ZS 750W Single Rail, Semi Modular $75

    Total $1140 Canadian Dollars

This build does not include a screen, nor a disc drive, just add $20 for the disk drive if you need it or take it from your previous computer :)

and if you wish to include a screen, look at scaling back the CPU to a lower specced i5 and cut back the Graphics Card to maybe a HD7850.

Its a little over budget due to the Graphics Card, the 7870 is the best at this price point in my opinion, some others may disagree :p

Hope this helps in your decision making! Good Luck :)

Okay. :) I usually refer to DVDs and CDs by name, now that I think about it I don't use the term disk often anymore. Looks like a good rig for the price. :rockout:
