can anyone xplain to me why the diffrences in xfx's 8800gt heatsinks- i see some models that have what appears to be the same cooler/layout as those used on the 7900gs- and other gt's have those larger card length coolers?thay appear to have same specs but diff coolers?why?

    example..

also i noticed that the second one "seems" shorter and have a diff layout on the pcb(backview) might just be me though, anyone know whats up?

I know they've made some revisions to the 8800GT cooler, but I haven't seen that shorter design before. I'd say that whichever had the bigger fan, though I don't really think any stock cooler will really do the job on these cards. My S2 PASSIVE cooler is 10c cooler than my stock cooler was, and it only costs $16.
