god damn im sooooo freaking tempting buying the Q6600 from mwave right now.

I have all the parts ready my Case my foxxconn 680I mobo, my zalman heatsink, my 4gb of OCZ SLI ready memory , and my Creative X FI Fatality Platinium champion, 8800 GTS video card and my OCZ 700 watt Power supply. I'm only missing a god damn CPU. having these parts sitting in my room in the box is KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

but since i waited 1 month already ill wait for the couple day to get the pr ice drop completely save my self 20 bucks :rockout::rockout::rockout:


i'm not sure your going to see it drop any further as i said when i called evga to ask about my board and the q6600 they said it was only going to drop to 299.00 how they know that I couldn't tell you.

the thing you have to watch for with the q6600 is the new stepping. I'm not quite sure when it was supposed to come out, but in my head I was thinking it was coming with the 1333fsb cpu's. The new stepping was 95 TDP, and could go like 9c higher if I remember right. The point is, these q6600's are basically guaranteed to be the older stepping, which besides the mobo not wanted to oc, those chips weren't big on it either. I myself am going to get an e6750 because it's better for most tasks right now, not to mention 80$ cheaper.
