Hi I am currently running a A10 With 7660D on board graphics and have also crossfired a xfx 7750 1gb ddr5 graphics card. They both work when they are crossfired but when I try starting my computer up with my monitor connected to my 7750 I get 1 long and 2 short beeps. I know there is not a problem with my card because if I connect to displays (one to each output IE onboard and card) then it displays no my onboard and then I can go into screen settings and and switch display to card and it works fine and improves game play, it is also recognised as ddr5 etc. can anybody help.
Thanks

Sorry I had see gameplay is O.K.Than I think Your card bios had too High Boot Up clock. You can Edit with the RBE 1.28 than change settings for Boot clock with 200 Mhz lower.Than Your motheboard can read the GPU.RBE 1.28,than ATIWinflash utilyti, but better update with 1 PCI card.I make forever this step, and funktion is forever O.k.

You had watch in 2nd slot?(8X)Sorry what is
your Motherboard type,and Bios version.
thank you.

Normally there are 2 settings in the Bios, one to enable On board which you clearly are aware of and another to set the "primary" display, if you have that setting I am guessing you may need to change the Primary to whichever of the 2 you have your video cable plugged into.

I have tried both settings through my BIOS but nothing seems to work, getting to the point that i think there is no answer to this problem.

Hmmmm, so you have tried swapping your connection lead to the other device?

By connection lead I assume you mean my display lead? if so yes I have and I jut get the bleeps if its only that connection. it just doesn't seem to work if I have only connected to my display through the card.

Your motherboard is O.K. running with windows 8,DDR3 RAM.I think must watch 1X in other motherboard, not Medion.
Better 1 ASUS or Gigabyte whoo had 2 PCI-e slot.Or only Your card, the one that does not start.
We get an answer to him in an other motherboard possibly makes a mistake. What You had?
A10-5700,or A10-5800K?

Just to update anyway that may be in the same situation as I was, after a lot of enquires online and in local computer stores and a lot of souls searching I discovered that MEDION in all their wisdom seem to have a lot of limitations on their boards especially when it comes to adding a standalone graphics card. in light of this rather annoying revelation I bit the bullet and bought a ASUS A88XM Plus board and after a very easy install had my card up and running in seconds. So thanks to ASUS and No thanks to MEDION. will be very sceptical on purchasing any other MEDION products in the future no matter how good the deal seems.
