Go for it! If I had another chance I'd choose that over my i7 920. (seriously)

In retrospect I'd taken one over my X4 955 and got a better video card with the difference.

Naaaa you did the right thing. I used to run a 720 and a 955 is a lot more snappy. Nothing wrong with a 720 but man you gotta love the raw power of a 955.

why not stick with your current config, and grab a intel quad, its going to cost u more, to jump to amd, board + cpu
